At the end of the day, Doreen has a right to follow whatever and whomever she wants. Lastly, I read some of the negative comments and I felt quite disappointed. I will say that Doreen certainly encourages people to pursue the Christian path, but I never felt pushed or forced throughout the chapters of this book. All it does is anger, frustrate and disappoint people. Threatening people with damnation will NOT win you over any converts. This was precisely why it took me so long to welcome Christ into my life. Thirdly, as someone who follows Jesus and came to that conclusion on my own over a period of many years of intense study, I sincerely appreciate her not forcing the bible down people’s throat like so many televangelists and some Christian radio show hosts do. Secondly, I felt that this book was very genuine and full of personal convictions which she had every right to share. I completely respect her decision as well. It was a very personal one and it is evident she had to sacrifice a lot to become a devout follower of Jesus as well as endure a tremendous amount of criticism. First off, I have no right to judge her decision. Since this book is a short read and free through my kindle unlimited app, I couldn’t help but read it.

When I found out through an article, I had read that she left the new age movement for Christianity, and this sparked a lot of curiosity. I was pretty familiar with Doreen Virtue and have read a book of hers many years ago.
